FAQ

You should feel comfortable and confident with your choice of doctors.  Sometimes, it can be hard to determine who is a good fit for you. Below, we discuss the more common questions that we hear in our Gilbert chiropractic office.

Q.  Can chiropractic even help me?

A. Yes.  Because chiropractic is a health care discipline that deals with correcting underlying interference to your nervous system, it improves overall health and function. You can read a bit more about the types of people we help on our Adults and Kids pages.

Q. What do we do?

A. As a chiropractor, I’m the only health care practitioner licensed by the Board of Arizona to offer the specific type of care that we do.  No other health care practitioner does what a chiropractor does!

First, during your consultation, we will determine the nature of your health concern.  Next, we will take you through your specific and thorough examination to determine the nature of your underlying condition.  We rely on various tools and protocols to provide for state of the art testing of your health status.  If necessary, you will visit an off-site diagnostic imaging facility we partner with to have your Xrays taken.

Upon returning for your next follow up visit, the doctor will go over your findings with you and provide you with your recommended care plan.

Q. How long will it take?

There are a variety of factors that go into determining the speed of your recovery.  Most patients of ours experience improvements within the first several weeks to first month of care.  The real benefit to your overall health and well being happens when the chronic, underlying distortion patterns are changed.  Depending on the severity of your degenerative changes in your spine, age and other health factors, this happens over the course of several months to a year.

Periodic re-exams are done regularly throughout your schedule of care to make sure that you are progressing along the right track.

Plan approximately 30 minutes for your initial visit, which includes your consultation and exam.  Regular office visits are approximately 20-25 minutes long.

Q. Does it hurt?

A. No.  The care we provide is extremely gentle, safe and amazingly effective.  We use the same protocol and adjusting procedures on our newborn baby patients it’s so gentle!

Q. How much will it cost?

A. This question is better addressed at your follow-up visit, once we know how often you will need to be seen to get the results you’re looking for. You will know exactly what you will be responsible for before starting any care at our office. We also have a variety of payment options available.

These are the most common ones. If you have any further questions that you’d like us to answer, feel free to contact us directly and we’ll be happy to answer them for you. Thank you.
